1. Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa is definitely one of the most instagrammable spots in Dubai. It feels like being on top of the world. If you want to take some photos with the Dubai skyline in the background, don’t miss out on the glass viewing platform on the 124th floor. No Dubai itinerary is complete without going up to the top of the Burj Khalifa!

2. Dubai Creek Harbour
Many people confuse this place with Dubai Creek but remember that Dubai Creek is a saltwater creek which is now part of the new Dubai canal, while Dubai Creek Harbour is a specific neighborhood on the shores of Dubai Creek.
So if you want to find the same photography locations you can see on the below picture, use the exact Google maps location we share here. Make sure you go at sunset!

3. Old Dubai
Strolling through the labyrinth of narrow streets and abandoned pathways in Old Dubai definitely belongs to one of the most intagrammable spots in Dubai. The mythic neighborhoords of Al Seef, Al Fahidi and Shindagha are full of secret tales and hidden stories. Here the time ticks differently and people are more calm and relaxing. The area has beautiful architectural aesthetics and amazing old tea places, such as the Arabian Tea House.

4. The View at The Palm
Enjoy incomparable views at The View at The Palm. Located 240m high, the observation deck presents never seen before 360-degree panoramas of Palm Jumeirah alongside the sparkling waters of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline in the distance. Actually, the views from here are better than from Burj Khalifa and we loved the creative and interactive exhibition that showcases the development of the island.
5. Forever Rose Café
In Dubai, you can step into a 2D world at Forever Rose Café. Everything in the café is meant to look hand drawn, so it’s like being inside a sketch come to life. Make sure you pay a visit here before leaving the city!

6. The Frame
One of Dubai´s newest attractions is the golden Frame, located close to Zabeel Park. This installation is 150m high and it literally frames perfectly Dubai through its windows. You also have a unique view if you walk the glass floor – looking more than a hundred meters down while casually strolling along.

7. Dubai Fountain Show
The Dubai Fountain Show takes place right outside the Dubai Mall. It’s a music, water, and light perfection, something that you definitely have to see for yourself. Keep in mind that the music is always different, so it’s worth staying for more than just one song. The show runs every 30 minutes.

8. Gold and Spice Souk
You can easily spend hours getting lost in the maze of different souks. Textile, gold, spices or just look for some souvenirs to take with you back home. From Al Fahidi historical district, hop on a boat taxi – the traditional wooden boat called “abra” – to the fold and spice markets. Here you can spend an afternoon wandering the aisles and score some high-quality spices and local teas. Not into spices? Stock up on some dried fruits or candied nuts. The best part is all the free samples!

9. Desert experience
No Dubai itinerary is complete without visiting the Dubai Desert! Not only you will have an exciting day touring the desert, you will have many amazing photo opportunities there too. I mean you simply can’t take a bad picture with these sand dunes, can you?
In order to visit the Dubai desert you need to book a Desert safari. There are countless options out there, but we suggest Platinum Heritage Safari, one of the most popular and loved tour operators in all of Dubai. You’ll experience an eco-luxury desert safari with an incredible level of service.
The activities you’ll do with them? An adrenaline experience through the dunes on board their vintage Land Rovers, a funny camel ride, a break for a tea in the desert, a stunning falconry show at sunset and a delicious dinner under the stars.
Ps: if you book a Desert safari you don’t need to worry about how to get to the Dubai desert because they will pick you up at your hotel.

10. Hot Air Balloon at sunrise
Riding a hot air balloon had been something on our bucket-list since we were young and Dubai was the first chance we ever had to do it!
Due to the desert heat, the balloons always take off before sunrise, so you head out to the desert in the dark of night and then see the sun rise from a couple of thousand feet up in the air! From a birds-eye viewpoint, you’ll be able to see everything from breath-taking sand dunes to camels wandering through the desert as the sun rises. Platinum Heritage Safari is a company that offers these hot air balloon rides and we personally loved it! After the balloon ride, most trips include a ride to a campsite with breakfast.
